Kaminaki has been now been given five stars for 'Excellent Standards of Hygiene' following a spot check by the Environmental Health authorities last week, under the new food hygiene rating system, Scores on the Doors, which allows awards from five to zero based on the most recent routine food hygiene inspection.  We welcome such a ratings system as it is helpful for diners to have information about the food hygiene practices of food premises.  Perhaps you'd like to have a look at the website - http://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk .  The site has not yet been amended with our stars - but our response has been uploaded by Environmental Health and we have our very nice certificate to confirm our rating.

It is our aim to provide our customers with the highest standards of food hygiene, food quality and service. 

It does need to be stressed that the star ratings adopted by Stockton and other local authorities refer only to food hygiene and not to the actual quality of the food or the dining experience. To test our food quality and service, what better way than to dine with us.
